Define a System DSN - Step III

To create a System DSN in Windows XP Professional, do the following.

1. Click on Start > Control Panel. Select the Performance and Maintenance link.

2. Click on the Administrative Tools link.

3. Double-click the Data Sources (OBDC) icon.

4. In the OBDC Data Source Administrator, click on the System DSN tab. Then click on the Add button.

5. In the Create New Data Source window, click on Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb), and then click the Finish button.
